Category:The Hinterlands
From The Fifth City Wiki
Huge, mostly empty lands that lays deep within continent, between Fallen London and hell. The Stolen River (Thames) flows here, from Hell and into the Unterzee. [1] Most o Hinterlands are uninhabited and haven`t been for millenniums, only rare first city ruins say that people could have lived here once. The only few settlements are located in region called Upper River, that start developing just now because of new London's Great Hellbound Railway. [2] Those settlements are:
- Ealing Gardens: the closest to London. Home for most Rubbery people.
- Jericho Locks: the second closest. Home for those who work the canals in the Upper River.
- The Magistracy of the Evenlode: The furthest reach of the law of London on remnants of the First City.
- Balmoral:The Empress's Scottish holding that has fallen with London into the Neath.
- Station VIII: A sole-standing factory extracting emotions in chemical form resides here.
- Burrow-Infra-Mump: Lonely church in the middle of nowhere just next to Hell's figurative gates.
