"What can you find in Ladybones Road? Moloch Street Underground Station is the first stop on the journey to Hell. Clathermont's Tattoo Parlour, haunt of spies, is here. Hangman's Arch can be a good place to hear gossip, and is always a good place for a hanging."[3]
Ladybones Road is a major district of London, rife with mysteries and intrigue.[4][5] Hell's embassy in London, the Brass Embassy, is located here,[6] and is staffed by devils and goat-demons.[7] To match its infernal influence, the neighborhood is dappled in hellish graffiti - tricky to decipher, but hints at Hell's internal affairs.[8] A popular local establishment, Clathermont's Tattoo Parlour, is a meeting place for agents of the Great Game[9] who use tattoos to encode messages and secrets.[10][11] Some of Clathermont's patrons visit nearby pubs afterwards to wind down and chat about their tattoos' meanings.[12]
Ladybones is also home to many neighborhoods and communities. Tyrant's Gardens is a park in Ladybones blooming with exotic fungi,[13][14] perfect for a stroll or discreet meeting.[15][16] Ladybones also houses the entrance to the Clay Quarters,[17] a labyrinth under the city in which Clay Men conduct their business.[18] Moloch Street, London's station on the railway lines to Hell, is also located in Ladybones.[19] Thanks to its mystique, Ladybones is frequented by detectives and Constables;[5][20] the Constables' headquarters, Concord Square,[21] is located in this district.[22]

Hangman's Arch is a famous landmark of Ladybones. Public hangings that often draw crowds are conducted here,[23] despite death's unreliability in the Neath. During downtime, elderly women gather beneath the Arch to gossip and sell sugared mushrooms.[24] Hanged prisoners who recover from death are exiled to the Tomb-Colonies,[25] and their discarded garmets are gifted to informants by the Constables as a traditional, and grim, reward.[26][27]
Before the Fall of London, Ladybones was known as Marylebone.[1][2] Hangman's Arch was likely Marble Arch.
