The Stolen River

"The Stolen River that flows into the Unterzee - the one they used to call the Thames - passes through Hell. That's one reason why you see so many of the dead at the Bazaar. Which in turn is one reason why being dead round here is an inconvenience, not a disaster."[1]

The Stolen River, formerly known as the Thames, is a river that flows through London and the Hinterlands.

A River, Stolen[edit | edit source]

When the Fall of London occurred, the entirety of the Thames and all that it touched were brought along with the city down into the Neath.[2] This, of course, greatly affected the neighboring city of Oxford, which lost its canal system and incurred significant damage to its infrastructure.[3]

The Stolen River now has less traffic compared to when it was on the Surface, and the fishermen who still ply their trade on the waters often find perculiar catches in their nets.[4]
