Mr Fires is behind Light Fingers; he runs the orphanage. Mr Hearts is behind Heart's Desire; he runs the Marvellous. Mr Cups is behind Nemesis; he murdered (but maybe not killed) your loved one. Mr Candles is behind Seeking; he got stabbed repeatedly, eaten, and thrown down a lacre-filled well. His influence remains.
Bag a Legend would be a black sheep if not for the Vake, which is Mr Veils, the one who killed Mr Candles.
