Enforcement of the rules below may involve removing offending comments, rolling back edits, and temporarily or permanently blocking an offending account or IP address from editing the wiki.

Wiki-Wide Rules

1. Keep it civil: Be kind, and don't personally attack others. If you want to criticize someone's comment or edit, be constructive and open to healthy discussion. Bigoted language or commentary will not be tolerated whatsoever.
2. No spam: No unwanted advertisements or unauthorized mass (or repeated) edits.
3. Do not harass other users: Do not barrage others' walls, antagonize other users, or make others feel unsafe.
4. Keep it PG-13: Avoid excessive sexual, violent, unlawful, or otherwise obscene content and discussion. Content from Failbetter games crosses these lines at times, so enforcement of this rule is subject to administrators' discretion in this case.
5. Contribute wisely: Please follow our content, formatting, and spoiler guidelines. This extensive page covers citations, restricted content, our image policy, and how to treat spoilers. Any edits that do not meet our guidelines are liable to be modified or removed.
6. No Generative AI: We do not consent to any requests to use our text in Large Language Models e.g. ChatGPT. LLM-generated wiki contributions are by nature uncited and unciteable, and will be removed. We additionally prohibit the use of AI image generation to create images for wiki use.

These rules also apply to the wiki's public message boards where applicable.

Article Comment Guidelines

1. Comments are for discussion and questions about the wiki and lore only. Please do not use them for unrelated or general discussion.
2. Any comments that may offend or incite flame wars will be removed. Comments are public and essentially permanent; anything you say can be viewed by anyone who visits an article.
3. General wiki rules apply to comments as well. Enforcement of these rules is according to administrators' discretion.
