The Efficient Commissioner - Griz to her friends - is a Londoner who has been in the Neath since the city fell. She quickly found work as Mr Pages' assistant, and supervised the census of 1862.[2]
By 1898, she was a member of the Tragedy Commission, working to oversee the writing and the application of the Tragedy Procedures.[3] When the Great Hellbound Railway was founded, the Bazaar only approved of the project on the condition that she become a board member.[4]
