February
"I hope you won't disappoint me," she purrs. "Go forth, and cause havoc."
February is a member of the Calendar Council and the sworn enemy of Mr Iron.[1] She is a member of the Moon League, a savage duellist, and a patroness of Knife-and-Candle players.[2]
February is an experienced player of the Great Game known for her ferocity, ruthlessness, and cunning.[3] Despite-or perhaps because of-her bloodthirsty schemes, her followers are extremely loyal to her and her cause.[4] As befits a spymaster, she is a very good player of chess.[5] She is searching for the Cave of the Nadir as she believes it to hold the key to the Liberation of Night.[6}
She pays her debts in the bottled blood of a Master.[7] Where she's getting all this blood is a mystery, though it might have something to do with her oddly intimate[6} hatred of Mr Iron...
