"There are many ladies of negotiable virtue in Fallen London, but Sinning Jenny is certainly the most notorious. She is said to have strangled quite a senior devil with a pair of scarlet stockings, a gift from Mr Wines. Although there seems to be some confusion about whether this was in fact a paid service."
(Probably not the sort of girl you could take home to your parents.)
Sinning Jenny, a prioress from Abbey Rock, runs the Parlour of Virtue. (Yes, a nun running a brothel!) She is a favorite of the Masters, especially Mr Wines. She was also Mayor of London for a year after winning the 1894 election in a landslide, having run on a platform of social reform under the slogan "Fortune Favours the Bold".
Despite her friendship with Mr Wines, Jenny is sympathetic towards-if not outright allied with-London's revolutionaries. She advocates for fair treatment of workers and for an end to child labor.[1] She respects the Jovial Contrarian[2] and Furnace Ancona[3]. She also has a close relationship with April of the Calendar Council[4][5] who worked with her in order to kill the Vake[6].

- "The Contrarian is often frustrating and rarely agrees with me. Nonetheless, he does not […] pursue aims that are dangerous to London, and in that he is unlike some other individuals we might be unwise enough to add to our number."
- "No one has more right to sit on this board than Furnace […] We cannot do without her perspective, and we should not try."
- April [...] can see the Board Secretary's notes as the meeting proceeds. As he writes down Jenny's answer, April nods and meets her eye.
- Once April has given her answer, she returns to looking at something Jenny was drawing on a sheet of paper. […] it looks like the plan for some kind of curved sword.
- April's warnings sound ominious. [...] Jenny [...] shakes her head. "I don't know. None of us ever got this close to killing it."
