The Fortunate Navigator
The Fortunate Navigator is an officer that can be recruited in Sunless Skies. He is a First Officer.
Biography
The Fortunate Navigator is the son of a servant working for the Eagle Khan Ambassador in London. He became friend with the Ambassador’s son, Altan.[1] The Navigator and Altan became very close, and they promised to each other that they would do great deed together once they became adult.[2] During that time, the Navigator came to realise that he was a transgender man.[3] When The Avid Horizon was opened, he and Altan moved to the High Wilderness together.[4] They then went their separate way. The Navigator worked in locomotives, and he could not assist to the funeral of Altan. Eventually, he and his crew became stranded on Lustrum. There, a sky captain can recruit him.[5] If said captain decide to bring him to London, he meet with the Grievous Matriarch, who give him the key to the family tomb, in the Eagle Empyrean.[3] Once he has taken the corpse of his friend, he his determined to fulfill his promise, by figthing a glorious battle,[6] witnessing a majestic creature[7] and finally giving his friend a worthy burial.[8]
