Godfall

"The brawling bearded men who live here call themselves monks. They pay lip service to 'St Stalactite', which fell from the roof. But their chief interests seem to be wine, blood and shouting."

Godfall is a stalactite from the roof of the Neath that crashed into the Unterzee.

The Shattered Citadel

Long ago, this enormous stalactite served as a citadel for the Starved Men - filled with dwellings, churches dedicated to the Shapeling Arts, scenic art galleries, and even mineral geodes large enough to fit multiple people inside. Sadly, that beauty was not meant to last; as a result of a fight between two groups of the Starved Men, there was a great explosion that caused the stalactite to fall from the roof, leaving almost all of its inhabitants dead - though some managed to survive by feeding on bats.

Recently, the remains of the citadel have been repopulated by a group of so-called monks, who pay lip service to "St Stalactite" and claim to be the descendants of the few surviving Starved Men... despite the latter group being celibate. These men seem much more interested in drinking and fighting than they are in prayer.
