Ten Thousand Teeth
"No false-stars — only bats and bats. You stand within their cyclone's eye, and then you see the roaring teeth..."[2]
Ten Thousand Teeth is a legendary monster known to reside and hunt deep within the Prickfinger Wastes. The bane of many a Monster-Hunter or Eradicator of the Department of Menace Eradication, it masks its presence successfully in its natural habitat, easily ambushing unsuspecting prey despite its large size.[4] Inside its giant maw, there seems to be a whole ecosystem that vies for the remains of Ten Thousand Teeth's latest meal.[5] Interestingly, one would-be victim of the Teeth discovered that it is highly irritated by Peligin Snuff; the hapless fellow was spat out after giving the Teeth a faceful of the substance.
