The Great Hellbound Railway is a massive project conducted by London to construct a railway to Hell through the Hinterlands. The Tracklayer's Union, led by Furnace Ancona, are responsible for providing labor and ensuring workers' rights.

Railway Track

Thanks to its advanced and unusual materials, railway steel is particularly suited to the Neath, as well as to the complicated task of reaching Hell intact; it is primarily composed of Justificande coins and Bessemer steel. In addition to Surface steel's ductile strength and low surface roughness, these materials contain at least one unique impurity: martensite crystals, as identified by FF Gebrandt, which act as a compass of sorts, orienting themselves towards Hell.[2] Whether the impurity comes from the Justificande coins, the Bessemer steel, or both is unclear.
