'''Godfall''' is a stalactite from the roof of the Neath that crashed into the Zee because of a battle between warrior monks on the roof. The monks who lived in the stalactite (perhaps related to the warrior nuns of [[Abbey Rock/The Convent|Abbey Rock]]) took the name "the Starved Men." The survivors, not of the Starved Men, but of the group attacking them, repopulated, despite a vow of celibacy. These monks are basically a bunch of pirates, they spend more time acting like Vikings than actual monks, and they "worship" '''St Stalactite'''. The Starved Men lived in '''the Shattered Citadel''' - yes, that's in the past tense. It's still a bad idea to enter.
Recently, the remains of the citadel have been repopulated by a group of monks who pay lip service to "St Stalactite" and claim to be the descendants of the few surviving [[Starved Men]] despite living in celibacy.<ref>{{Citation|https://sunlesssea.fandom.com/wiki/Godfall|Godfall|Sunless Sea|}}</ref><ref>{{Citation|https://sunlesssea.fandom.com/wiki/Godfall|Of shouting|Sunless Sea|}}</ref> On top of that, the monks seem much more interested in drinking and fighting than they are in prayer.<ref>{{Citation|https://sunlesssea.fandom.com/wiki/Godfall|Godfall|Sunless Sea|}}</ref>

Deep in the chapel there is evidence of shape-changing - elongated human skulls, the tools used to elongate them, and large quantities of amber. Farther in, the gates seem to be made of men, and it's impossible to tell if they were sculpted or molded...

"The brawling bearded men who live here call themselves monks. They pay lip service to 'St Stalactite', which fell from the roof. But their chief interests seem to be wine, blood and shouting."[1]

Godfall is a stalactite from the roof of The Neath that has crashed into the Zee.

The Shattered Citadel

Long ago, this enormous stalactite served as a citadel for the Starved Men- filled with living spaces,[2] churches dedicated to The Shapeling Arts,[3] scenic art galleries and even mineral geodes large enough to fit multiple people inside of them.[4][5] Sadly, that beauty was not meant to last- as a result of a fight between two groups of the Starved Men a great explosion took place, making the great citadel fall from the roof, leaving almost all of it's inhabitants dead- although some have managed to survive by feeding on bats.[6][7]

Recently, the remains of the citadel have been repopulated by a group of monks who pay lip service to "St Stalactite" and claim to be the descendants of the few surviving Starved Men despite living in celibacy.[8][9] On top of that, the monks seem much more interested in drinking and fighting than they are in prayer.[10]
