"Jack-of-Smiles. The murderous buffoon, plaything of the press, and London's most notorious killer."

The only existing depiction of Jack.

Jack-of Smiles is London's most prolific murderer. Despite the name, the actual gender of the figure is unknown, though generally referred to as 'he' in the papers. This mysterious figure mostly targets humans and clay men; they have been stopped many times, including being killed by devils, but still continue to haunt the city. Whether this is because there is more than one person occupying the role, or that the personality of Jack jumps from body to body, is unknown.
