July of the Calendar Council was a socialite, violinist, and anarchist leader. She became addicted to sunlight, and the Orts, a powerful Fingerking, contacted her through a mirrorcatch box full of sunlight.
The Orts offered her visions of the future, which July planned to use to prevent the fall of Paris as the Sixth City. However, she traded away her memories in exchange until she was left a dazed shell of her former self. The memories she lost to the Orts formed a Parabolan reflection, which now seeks to free the real July from her pact with the Fingerking.
