Fungus-Towers,[2] also called Fungus-Columns,[3] are twelve-foot tall,[4] two-ton[5] monstrosities that menace Bugsby's Marsh near Watchmaker's Hill.[6] They are also found in the tunnels above Flute Street, where they stampede by the hundreds.[7] They are aggressive creatures,[8] attacking their foes with barbed fronds and acidic effluence.[9][10] They are also impervious to most forms of damage, including bullets, though axes will usually bring them down.[11] The caps of Fungus-Towers are sometimes used as treats for the purposes of animal husbandry.[12][13]
