==How Did He Lose His Hand?==
Some years ago, the Genial Magician made a deal with the Fingerkings. He was assigned to deliver a box to a young female contractor (probably [[Sophia]]) at the [[The Department of Menace Eradication|Department of Menace Eradication]] in [[Watchmaker's Hill]], and the Fingerkings would tell him the secret to one of the illusionist [[Monsieur Pleat]]'s tricks.<ref>{{Citation|https://fallenlondon.wiki/wiki/Genial_Magician|Genial Magician|Fallen London|}}''"Monsieur Pleat refused to reveal the secret of the 'Moulting of Pleat's Eidolon at Hallowmas'.
