In-game, Unearthly Fossils don't come from trading with Rubbery Men (they come from emancipating Clay Men or expeditions in the Forgotten Quarter), and neither do Fecund Amber and Fluke-Cores (both come from the Nadir). I'm putting this in a lore context - I'm only listing the items you actually have to trade with members of the faction to get.
