Nook

Nook is the name of a large creature embedded under the zee that is colonized by various people.

"Many have come here from London, the Khanate, the Presbyterate; abandoning cultured life for this tenuous existence. They grin, their mouths full of stolen flesh, or float naked and carefree. Many have nothing, and nothing to lose."

It seems to be similar to a long worm, entirely filled with teeth. It has been infested with parasites, similar to tapeworms. There are indeed people who live here, as this process makes the water breathable, moreso when mixed with wine. They have hollowed out a large number of the teeth to make caves and houses.

Nook changes the people who live in it, causing them to lose inhibitions and become more violent. The only source of light for the citizens are strange green polyps, which are (as one might imagine) fiercely fought over.

Nook originated from the High Wilderness, where it hunted between the stars. It may belong to the same species as Storm
