Port Avon

Founded by the Quixotic Squire, Port Avon is a quaint village adrift in the Reach, nestled among giant stone ruins.
A Village in Heaven
"Were it not for talk of smugglers and sky-beasts, you could easily confuse this place for a village on the world you left behind."
A rural farming village where cricket is played and apple cider is drunken, Port Avon is a gorgeous village reminiscence of Old Earth.
Port Avon's settler are very easily grew tired or wary of visitors. Skyfarers who wanted to visit longer than they should may need to share gossips or host a tea party to keep the settlers friendly.
The Cyclopean Ruins
"Not one of the looming stones is quite square, yet they all slot together immaculately. What were these ruins, before their fall? Even their bones are tall and stately as the finest cathedrals of old France. What purpose did they serve in the past, plentiful days when their sun still shone?"
Port Avon is built on top of giant ruins. No one in Port Avon know who or what used to inhabit the ruins. What they do know is that excavating the ruins can reveal trove of souls. This caused many spirifers to flock to the ruins.

In reality, the ruins was just a "table" where the Garden-King eat. It was once the place where Mr. Menagerie and many other Curators provided souls as food for the Judgement of the Reach. The souls that can be found mining the ruin are implied to be simply a 'leftover'.
