The Watchmaker's Daughter is a renowned inventor and toymaker, specializing in exceedingly complex clockwork creations. She previously kept a workshop in Watchmaker's Hill; at one point she was in business with her father, one W. Paley, but is still highly accomplished in her own right. She has designed toys capable of animation, speech, and in at least some, moderate intelligence. These have something of a sinister nature, being known to have committed acts of violence both to their owners and others.

In the past, she was a focus of interest from both Mr. Cups and Mr. Irons, with the latter having a particular animosity towards her.

The Albino Rat was a onetime companion of hers, and still has great affection for her.

The Affair of the Big Rat and the Plaster Face

The Plaster Face, an elaborate clockwork display capable of changing expression, was built and operated by the Albino Rat for the Big Rat, in exchange for a promise of protection for the Watchmaker's Daughter from the designs of the Masters.

Eventually, under pressure from both Mr. Cups and Mr. Irons, the Watchmaker's Daughter drowned herself.
