Gods of the Zee

Often among Zee captains, citizens of the Fallen Cities, and inhuman beings all practice a wide variety of religions and odd practices. From cannibalism to "good Christian thrashings" men and women have done a variety of terrible, stupid, or downright evil things for their gods and beliefs. Some of these religions actually have value, and their gods affect the people of the Zee in many ways. Others are...well there is no good explanation, even by their own followers.

The Zee Three; Salt, Stone, and Storm

The city folk and islanders can worship whatever silly god they please, to the Zee captains and their crew only three matter most, as they have formed a legitimate impact on the travels of men and women who enter their domain.

Salt

Time and memory, these are the domains of the Zee god Salt. The flowing currents, the waves that erode even shore lines, change and the flow of time affect us all. Salt is an entity of unknown origin, though it is believed he may exist far to the east, father than any man may dare go.

"We will sail East, and the islands will fall behind. The zee will be troubled by greater waves. The false-stars will pale, until the Neath-roof grows invisible above. New scents will prickle the air: something like spice and something like pine."
