Cornelius is a member of The Tracklayer's Union and the leader of the Prehistoricists movement.
Philosopher of the Chain
Cornelius is a scholar who knows about the Chain and The Correspondence.[1][2] He is the creator of the Prehistoricist ideology.[3]
He was the co-leader of the Tracklayer's Union with Furnace Ancona during the building of Moloch Line.[4] The construction of the line went well until the workers reached the Hurlers.[5] A deviless sought to sabotage Cornelius,[6] teasing him about not being able to read an inscription written in the Discordance, and smuggled him a dictionary. He spent six months in The Tomb-Colonies.[8][9] He later came back and started to preach his philosophy in the Tracklayer's union headquarters of The Magistracy of the Evenlode,[10] and plan his next move...[11]
