The White Well
"Here, a prison of the Blue Kingdom, reserved for punishment of the erroneous dead."
The White Well is the frozen hole of the Blue Kingdom. The Well consists of two part: The Stone-Faced Court and Wellmouth.
The Stone-Faced Court
"Half-ziggurat, half-fortress, the Court is where spirits go to face judgement before they meet their end. A meek little city has sprung up around it almost by default."
The Stone-Faced Court is a massive ziggurat built near the White Well. The court is where the dead are judged by Blue Kingdom's administration. Due to the large number of spirits and the slow nature of the process, the waiting line to enter the court has become so long that a town named Urd was established around it.
Those who are judged as dead will passed on to Death's Door Those that are judged as the Failed Dead will be sentenced to be thrown into the Well. Notably those that dabbled with immortality during their life are often judged as a Failed Dead, since their attempt at extending their life alter their spirit and soul.
Curiously, individual with Yoked status are not permitted to enter the court. This is most certainly not an effort to hide corruption within the court.
The Graven

The court functionality are managed by the skull-headed Graven. These jewelled individuals have the flesh above their collarbone carved out, leaving the appearance of a clean skull. These skulls are then adorned with Navaratine gemstone. The amount and quality of the jewel in their head determines their rank.
Despite their gravely appearance, these individual are not actually dead. Rather, the Sapphir'd King have gave them an exemption from the Law of death as a reward for their service. This allow them to tore their own face without killing themselves.
Working as the Graven can cause a toll to a person's mental state. Many that are not satisfied with their position grow their faces back, then leave the Blue Kingdom to "enjoy life", much to the bafflement of the other Graven.
