"The LABYRINTH OF TIGERS is open under the patronage of the LONDON ZOOLOGICAL SOCIETY to CAUTIOUS VISITORS for EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. Here you may see the DEVIL-APES of FAR MANDELAY. The THING IN THE MIRROR. The CANTIGASTER'S CHILDREN. The gargantuan CAVE-SNAKE. The INHABITER OF WOLVES. The HYBRID FIEND. N.B. The MANAGEMENT RECOMMENDS that you arrange your exit WELL BEFORE CLOSING TIME."

The Labyrinth of Tigers is like a more convoluted London Zoo/Bedlam hybrid, where the tigers and only the tigers walk free. In-game, you may work there (under Mr. Inch, who may or may not be a Master) if your Dangerous quality is 85 or higher.

The Coils of the Labyrinth

The Masters run shops at the entrance to the Labyrinth, but what you get there often depends on luck.

The First Coil is home to a few surface-appeal exhibits, such as Walter the rhinoceros, Mary the octopus, Jane the giant lizard, and a pack of hyenas.

The Second Coil is home to some more Neathily weird creatures: immortal beetles, man-eating crocodiles, lemurs who dethrone their leaders monthly, Thomas the giant crab, Abraham (another lizard), George the cave-snake, Robert and Elizabeth the penguins, Percy the leopard, the Bifurcated Owl, the Inhabiter of Wolves, and the Thing in the Mirror.

The Third Coil houses many of the Labyrinth's human exhibits - mostly madmen and -women, though a few are criminals. Oddly, no mirrors are allowed in this coil... maybe because there are people housed here?

The Fourth Coil is where the most mysterious creatures of the Labyrinth might reside: the Somnolent Hyena, the Tomb-Lion, the Plated Seal, the Rubbery Hound. But in-game, all of them have escaped, and you have to find and breed at least one of them. Some interesting fungi also reside here.

The Fifth Coil is closed for refurbishment. Perhaps at a later date, we'll find out what lurks inside.
