"You stand in the midst of a snarl of toppled masonry, dominated by great bell towers still sounding their own death knells. The ravages of time have brought this once proud palace low."
The Progress of the Bells is a location near Marigold Station in the Hinterlands.[1] It is a massive, decaying palace whose bell towers are eternally ringing.[2] It once belonged to Grand Devils,[3] and accordingly contains remnants of hives.[4] During the Season of Revolutions, Hell used Law-Furnaces to accelerate its deterioration[5] and decree it would stagnate "until Hell's fall."[6] Within the palace's amphitheater are two enormous corpses of the castle's former inhabitants, locked in dying embrace.[7]

↑For All the Saints Who From Their Labours Rest, Fallen London"In a vast amphitheatre you find fragments of the lord [...] Wings the size [...] of cathedral buttresses; [...] faceted eyes. Clutched in its broken limbs, the [...] body another of its kin."
