The Red Science is the investigation of the Great Chain of Being, the metaphysical order of the universe, and how this order can be broken, bent, or rearranged into something else.[1]
The Science of Escape
The Red Science can bend space,[2][3] make time flow backward,[4] re-write the rules of mathematics,[5] and break the Great Chain.[6] It concerns the relation between light and law,[7] modification of the rules of the universe,[8] and revelation of these rules.[9][10] However, using the Red Science to break the rules of the universe leaves permanent scars,[11][6] and as with all transgressions of their laws, the Judgements see the use of the Red Science as a crime.[12]
