"In the migrainous straits of deep sleep, there is a marsh where candle-flames buzz like wasps."

WARNING: Beyond this point lie spoilers for Fallen London's most infamous storyline: Seeking Mr Eaten's Name. Turn back now.

You can find out more about our spoiler policy here.

"The summit of Winking Isle is two dozen paces across... In the very centre stands a Well of black brick. As you cross the grass, scents arise: crushed flowers, camphor, ice."

Winking Isle is a desolate speck of rock in the middle of, well, nowhere. It was the previous home of the entity now known as Mr Eaten.

A Foolish Journey to a Bad End

There really isn't much to say about this place. There's a well, and no lighthouse. To get here you'll need an address. Take a nap with the Calling Card in your fist. No matter how you crush it, it will always be the same. Now you can meditate and fast until there's nothing left of you.

The Isle doesn't like it when you have treasures. Don't come here bearing gifts; the Isle will reject you.

The lighthouse will cost you no candle. Feel free to pay it a visit. It's for your own good.

You're still here?

What could you possibly hope to gain?

Wake up, foolish reader.

There's nothing left for you here.
