"For many, this is the first they see of Eleutheria: murmuring groves, scattered ruins, a midnight sky."

Eleutheria is a dark, riotous, pagan region of the High Wilderness.

Darkness, DARKNESS

The main denizens of this region are outcasts, revolutionaries, bohemians, and other characters of questionable repute. In stark contrast to Albion, all of Eleutheria is shrouded in thick fog and pitch darkness. This darkness seems to exist not just from the lack of light, but is also emitted from Eleutheria's black star. While the people here may seem like a pack of murderous rogues, many of them are refugees who wish to escape the scouring light of the false-god or the harsh judgements of the blue sun.

While the darkness may seem impenetrable, there is a settlement trying to fight back. This group is the sky-faring Khanate, who established Eagle's Empyrean after breaching the Avid Horizon. The Empyrean is lit by the Xanthous Moon, which does a good enough job of holding back the dark. Unfortunately, Eleutheria is also crawling with locomotives who will stop at nothing to see every light exthinguished...
