"The House of Rods and Chains; a ruined palace atop a rotting Messenger. Now home to uninvited guests of a rubbery persuasion."

"You near the House of Rods and Chains, a ruined complex atop a great dead beast. Once it was the favourite Messenger of the sun. Before it disobeyed."

"The Repentant Devil examines the House of Rods and Chains from the window. 'A reminder of how the Judgements treat those who defy them.'"

"Your Aunt is lost in thought. 'Hm? Oh, sorry. It reminds me of old London, and the Echo Bazaar.'"

The House of Rods and Chains is the remains of a dead space crab that floats near the Halved, in Eleutheria. It is not outright said that this space crab is our very own Echo Bazaar, but it is implied. If this is true, the Bazaar was destroyed by the Halved sometime before 1906, for disobeying the Judgements and failing to deliver its message to the Sun.

It is home to Rubbery Men and one remaining Master. The Rubberies carry copies of the Unexpurgated London Gazette; the House is referred to as "the favourite messenger of the sun;" and the President of the Royal Society, now located in Albion, is particularly interested in it. Make of that what you will. However, the names of its seven doors and remaining Masters differ. The Bazaar's doors are Ormolu, Teeth, Copper, Glass, Ivory, Paper, and Steel; the House's doors are Leather, Rubber, Chitin, Scale, Fur, Flesh, and Feather. The Masters change their names over time and with new cities, though, so it's left entirely unclear whether this is truly the Bazaar.
