"A power of transformation."
The Shapeling Arts are the arts of reshaping flesh and bone, mostly using amber as a catalyst[1], but there are alternatives like wax, mutersalt or ambergris. They were developed by Rubbery Men, but humans can also gain considerable skill and invented new branches of it.[2] The Starved Men practice the Shapeling Arts with religious fervor.[3] Rubberies, however, see human and Starved imitations as lacking, since humans cannot perceive everything they do about amber.[4]
