The Piper is a Grand Devil and another of Hell's imprisoned saints. She found a way for her kind to enter and hide in Parabola after the failed rebellion against the Judgments;[1] she is now interred beyond a gate at the bottom of the gorge at Henlys, not too far off the Moloch railway line.[2] Someday, her followers will free her and rejoice in her music.[3] The Drummer was once her paramour.[4]
In the Sunless Skies timeline, a group of monarchist devils have liberated the Piper and brought her to Caduceus, where she resides inside an adamantine idol. She is not happy with this change of scenery,[1] and does not wish to defy the Judgements again,[5] to the disappointment of her followers.[6]
