June is a member of the Calendar Council and the architect of the Dawn Machine.
An Elusive Figure
Little is known about June, but she may be affiliated with the New Sequence, the cult that has formed around the Dawn Machine. The other members of the Council do not trust her, as the Dawn Machine's artificial sunlight is an obstacle to the Liberation of Night.[1]
