An entire city scared of the dark. They believe that darkness does something similar to stealing your soul, in that in joins you to a dark god, "Taamas" who steals your name. They worship Mihir, goddess of light.
The entire city is constantly illuminated, through candles and mirrors. They are well aware of the presence of Fingerkings, who seek to escape through, well, basically any surface in Varchas. As such, do not touch the mirrors and try not to dream. It is forbidden to eat meat.
