The Nacreous Outcast is a Rubbery Man who, oddly for its kind, can speak,[1] cook[2] and perform religious rituals.[3]
The Nacreous Outcast was exiled by its kind because it loved someone, which among Rubbery Men, is considered a crime. It was therefor abandoned in Port Cecil and became a servant to the Principles of Coral.[2]
The Outcast ia forced to gather materials to prepare for a chess match with the Principles of Coral, where it will serves as the latter's hand.
