The late Amelia Whitlock was the captain of the Orphean. She was a seasoned captain who accrued riches from all corners of the heavens, but used up all of her fortune for one last trip to the Blue Kingdom.
Whatever she did there, it involved a black box, and it angered the Blue Kingdom and caused the fiery Logoi to burn her from within. She was transformed into a nightmarish fire-spewing beast, riddled with Correspondence sigils, until she succumbed to the torture.
