For some, the Red Science is the investigation of the Great Chain of Being, the metaphysical order of the universe, and how and how this order can be used.[2] For others, the term should be reserved only to the gross and foolish ways those rules can be exploited for treacherous purposes. In either case, the Red Science involve the application of the principles of the Correspondence to reality.[3]
The Science of Escape
The Red Science can bend space,[4][5] make time flow backward,[6] re-write the rules of mathematics,[7] and defy gravity.[8] It concerns the study of the rules of the universe,[9][10] for instance how light is related to law[11]
The Red Science can be used to modify flesh and break the rules of the Great Chain of Being. However, such break to the natural order always leave a scar,[12] and, like all transgressions of their laws, the Judgements see this as a crime.[13]
