Thats how I cooked zzoup: I got 2 big onions (lamentest ones), Mushrooms (chanterelles, but I got a tin can of champignons), paprika (zzoup's colour is the old blood on snow, add until colour is correct), any plant really as Exile's rose replacement (it would be probably better without drug component anyway), canned chicken (or any meat, pork is preferred) the same amount as mushrooms, soup base brick as hangman's tears (anyone would cry seeing something like that added into zzoup) and salt. And thats probably it! Turned out to be very tasty. I am no conspiracy theorist, but...

Royal Society is a secret Ministry facility. Or at least influenced a lot by it. Of course it is a secret, even for most scientist working here. Mellifluous President is a most shady person here: he claims to make a scientific museum, so he collects sky artefacts. But did anyone seen this collection? It may very well be that he tries to confiscate as many shards of knowledge about High Wilderness as he can. Not convincing enough? He also collects reports about stellar objects from sky capitans, and almost immediately destroys them, paying more than independent factions. He also discourages (encourages capitan to talk her down) Steward's work on Clockwork Sun. Is it how man of science acts? Plus, why do he has so many Perdurance invitations? He is clearly a mole inside scientific society. Lets talk about telescope: why Ministry made it so hard to turn it away from Clockwork Sun? Even more, I think it is impossible to get permits when you live and work in a middle of nowhere without outside help. Thing is, government want astronomers to believe they are free to explore, when in fact they are not. Purpose of Royal Society is not to help progress, but to lock every great mind away from public, so knowledge about HW not only not spread, but even not accumulated. Banquets, train races, artificial fog to block the skies - everything to distract scientists from work. Only thing that Ministry interested in located below RS. From what point palace of knowledge became a military facility? Engineers produce everything from better armour to real law-furnaces. What else do they make here that only highest authorities can see and use?!

How does gravity in High Wilderness work? I think it has nothing to do with actual gravity. I noticed that everything that makes something gravitate to it (cities, trains, floating rocks) do it only if that something stands on top of it. So gravity must be some sort of law mad by Judgements. And it probably sounds like "things on top of other things stick to them".
Zzoup: the recipe
Thats how I cooked zzoup: I got 2 big onions (lamentest ones), Mushrooms (chanterelles, but I got a tin can of champignons), paprika (zzoup's colour is the old blood on snow, add until colour is correct), any plant really as Exile's rose replacement (it would be probably better without drug component anyway), canned chicken (or any meat, pork is preferred) the same amount as mushrooms, soup base brick as hangman's tears (anyone would cry seeing something like that added into zzoup) and salt. And thats probably it! Turned out to be very tasty.
